WITH numerous accolades already under its belt Haverhill-based Jan Cavelle Furniture company has scooped another national award.
Employees Mary Pryer, Kate Lanceman and Donna Moss walked away from the British Institute of Sales and Marketing Awards with the Rising Star Award, just one year after coming together as a team.
The trio collected their trophy during a gala dinner held at London's Royal Lancaster Hotel and in doing so defeated competition from multi-national, household-name companies.
Jan Cavelle's head of sales Jack Glennon was a finalist in the sales professional of the year award, although he left empty handed.
On winning the award, Donna said: "It was a superb and most unexpected surprise."
Mary described the achievement as 'a real honour' while Kate said it was: "Brilliant, we were all completely blown away."
Jan Cavelle herself reached the finals of the Prowess Inspirational Woman of the Year Award, which was held at Brighton Racecourse on February 7.
Although she missed out on the title she has previously won the Anglian Business Person of the Year and Institute of Directors Regional Enterprise awards.
She said: "I am so pleased that my fantastic staff have achieved this recognition.
"They deserve every bit of it.
"The calibre of our staff is entirely responsible for the fantastic growth this company continues to enjoy."
