FOLLOWING on from the news in last week's Echo that 900 new jobs are to be created in Haverhill in the coming year, Culina Logistics has announced it is starting the recruitment process for its Haverhill site, which is due to open in August 2008.
The warehouse will store chilled goods for a number of major food and drink manufacturers and operate on a 24-hour basis.
Culina is looking for shift managers, team leaders, LGV drivers and general warehouse staff.
Three open days are being held on
April 6, 7 and 8, where prospective employees can reserve a place on a presentation about the jobs available.
These will be held at Woodlands Hotel, Coupals Road, Haverhill, with presentations at 2pm, 3pm, 4pm and 6pm.

n WEBSITE brand thebestof, which has a Haverhill franchise called thebestofHaverhill, has been voted top innovative business at the Fast Growth Business Awards 2008.
Aileen Woodley, who runs thebestofHaverhill, said: "Since our launch in October, we have launched some very innovative schemes, such as our review pages and monthly awards, and it's just great to be recognised for our forward thinking and entrepreneurial vision, especially from a selection of such highly-regarded entrepreneurs and businessmen as those that sat on the FGBA panel."
The site is one of a network of sites around the country championing local businesses.
The awards were judged by Peter Jones, of BBC's Dragons' Den, Simon Kossoff, managing director of Carluccios, and Rene Carayol, business guru and TV presenter.

n MEMBERS and guests of Atlantic Health and Spa, in Cavendish, near Clare, raised £266 for Sport Relief by keeping a treadmill and exercise bike going continuously from 8am to 8pm, on Friday.
