A WOMAN who has worked at Sainsbury's, in Haverhill, for 28 years was among those modelling the supermarket chain's new uniform with colleagues this week.
Linda Draper, of Belchamp St Paul, was 18 when she joined the store, which was then based in Jubilee Walk.

She said the latest uniform – in shades of mauve – was the sixth different style since she joined.

Although nothing official is done by the store to mark 28 years, Mrs Draper was happy to show off the new uniform.

She was given a gold watch to mark her 25 years with the company and the next milestone will be the 30-year celebration.

She said she enjoys working there and feels lucky to have met a lot of nice people through her job.

Mrs Draper has worked on a variety of sections within the supermarket and currently works within the clothing area of the store.
