INGENIOUS clues proved no problem for the teams taking part in this year's Haverhill Chamber of Commerce and Industry car rally – which was again won by FlipFlop Marketing.
Despite rather unpleasant weather, the treasure hunt with vehicles attracted eight teams, who followed a series of clues around the local countryside.

Paul Cammiss, of Adams Harrison solicitors, set the questions again and took the teams on a new
route, which started from the market square in Clare, and finished, 11 miles later, at the Waggon And Horses, in Great Yeldham, where the contestants had dinner.

Sarah Howard, chairman of Haverhill Chamber, said: "This is a great social event for the chamber.

"I think it is testament to Paul Cammiss that so many people turned up on such a miserable evening. Everyone knows it's going to be fun.

"The questions did seem a little more challenging this year but everyone tries so hard."

Second place went to The Design Office – which was only one point behind FlipFlop Marketing – and third place was retained by Sarand Business Software.

It was FlipFlop Marketing's second consecutive year at the top.

Sarah thanked Paul Cammiss for organising the trail, and Steve Darbey from Wicked Wheels, which sponsors the event.

FlipFlop Marketing received a bottle of champagne and retained the trophy for another year.
