IF it's memorable theatre you're after, look no further, because the ladies of Farndale Avenue are back – via Haverhill's Centre Stage Company – next Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
If you've seen the ladies' work before (for example, their production of Macbeth) you'll know you're in for a fabulous night.
This time the play within a play deals with The Mikado and the ladies' 'original' interpretation is tackled with their usual enthusiasm, despite the constraints of casting and costume, producing hilarious mishaps, forgotten lines and scene-stealing.
The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen's Guild Operatic Society's Production Of The Mikado takes place at Haverhill Arts Centre on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, at 7.30pm and there's a matinee on the Saturday at 2.30pm. Tickets are priced from £7 and are available from 01440 714140.
