WINNERS of the 2008 Haverhill Rock Competition, Solstice, headline an evening of music from great bands in the Haverhill area, tomorrow.
Solstice And Guests starts at 8pm with Indigo, Screwd and Selective Walk each doing a set.

They're all great acts so go along for what looks like a good night.

No unaccompanied under 14s.

Proof of age may be required.

You'll be pleased t
o hear that Carrie Bradshaw, everyone's favourite fashion icon next door, is back, and she continues to narrate her own story about sex, love and the fashion-conscious single women of New York.

Sex And The City (15) is showing on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, at 7.45pm, and we rejoin Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda four years after the hit TV series ended.

Dressing up is optional and the bar will be open from 7pm.

Finally the Hamsters are back!

Haverhill is the band's 4,000th gig and this will be a rare Jimi Hendrix concert to celebrate what would have been Jimi's 65th birthday recently.

The Hamsters Play Jimi Hendrix on Friday, Jul 18, at 8pm.

If you haven't managed to see the band before, the guitar, bass and drums trio has long been established as a premier blues-rock attraction, having performed 4,000 concerts in 21 years, and are widely regarded as the UK's leading interpreters of the music of Jimi Hendrix.

They are always welcomed and assured of a sell-out at the arts centre.
