COUPLES with a claim to the Dunmow Flitch will be questioned as part of the traditional Dunmow Flitch Trials, taking place on Saturday, at 10.30am, 2pm and 7pm.
The trials aim to prove whether or not a couple's claim that a year and a day after their marriage they have not offended one another in thought or deed, nor wished themselves unmarried in that time.

The winners are rewarded with a 'flitch' of bacon.

More information is available from www.dunmowflitchtrials.co.uk, or call 01371 878939.
