EXHIBITION: Clare Art Club is holding an art and craft exhibition at Clare Town Hall, from Saturday to Monday, 10am to 4pm.
There will be original paintings, prints, crafts and cards for sale, as well as demonstrations, a children’s art competition and refreshments.

RUBY AND HER HORSES: The narrative tale of a woman’s struggle through the agricultural depression, and h
er love of horses, comes to Horseheath Village Hall, on Saturday.

Ruby And Her Horses is the story of Bumpstead Boy Neil Lanham’s mother, Ruby.

AUDITION: There will be a read through for the next production by Ketton Players, Scrooge – The Musical, tonight at 7.30pm, in Kedington Community Centre.

Auditions take place the following two Thursdays, from 7pm.

The auditions are open to people of any age.

TWO PARKS RAMBLE: Explore local footpaths and lanes on a circular route starting at Nowton Park, Bury St Edmunds, on Saturday.

Walk to Hardwick Heath and then back to the park (five miles approximately).

This event is suitable for the whole family but children must be accompanied.

The walk may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather; it is free to take part.

TASTER SESSIONS: People aged 16 and over with learning difficulties can try taster sessions at the Opportunities Without Limits (OWL) open day, in Sawston, on Friday, May 9.

Try gardening, cookery, sport, karaoke or bicycle repair, among other things, between 10.30am and 3pm.
