WHIST DRIVE: Castle Camps Goood Companions is holding a whist drive on Wednesday, at 7.30pm, in Castle Camps Village Hall.
Admission costs £1 and there will be refreshments.

PLANT SALE: A large variety of plants will be on offer at when Ridgewell Garden Society holds a sale on the village green from 11am until 1pm on Saturday, May 17.

Anyone interested in hiring a
stall for the plant sale should contact Sil Clay on 01440 785729.

SINGERS: The Salvation Army Hall, Chauntry Road, Haverhill, will host Waterbeach Salvation Army Songsters and Band on Saturday, at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £2.50 and can be obtained in advance or on the door.

Funds raised will go to The Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal which helps fund numerous social projects within the UK.

JUMBLE SALE: Bargain hunters are being summoned to West Wickham Village Hall on Saturday, between 2pm and 4pm for a jumble sale.

Children's clothes, school uniform, ladies' and men's clothing, bric-a-brac, books, DVDs and more will be available with all proceeds going to West Wickham Pre-School.

All jumble needs to be at the hall between 10am and 12pm on the day and for any that needs collecting, call Lynn on 01223 290711.

CONCERT: Balsham Singers will hold a spring concert at Balsham Church on Saturday, at 7.30pm.

There will folk singing and the grandeur of the new church organ will be demonstrated with organ solos.

Tickets, each including a free Union Jack, are available on the door or from Balsham Post Office, priced at £7 for adults or £5 for concessions.

Events to be considered for inclusion in next week's Echo must arrive by 12noon tomorrow.
