I WENT to the recent junior Centre Stage production of All Shook Up and I wanted to write to say what a fantastic show I thought it was.
Being brought up in the generation of Elvis and rock 'n' roll music, I could easily relate to the production.
All performers did themselves proud and I understand from a number of people there was a standing ovation nearly every night.
Certainly there was the night I attended, which was thoroughly deserved.
I have been a regular supporter of Centre Stage productions and this will go down as one of the very best from a company which always puts on shows of a high standard.
Mention must also been given to the music and the excellent standard of the orchestra under the direction of Karen Chinery.
They were brilliant and also deserve a lot of praise.
So often we read negative reports about the town and its youngsters, but this whole show was another example of the talent which exists in the Haverhill area in all age groups.
