I HAVE contacted St Edmundsbury Council with regards to the continuous hold-ups the population and passing traffic is experiencing on Withersfield Road and Wratting Road.
I fail to see why there have not been warnings to traffic of the hold-up, which gets worse by the day. As I suggested to the person I spoke to, it would have been a good idea to put notice of the problem at the roundabout before Sainsbury’s, giving drivers the chance to use the bypass.

I am sure not everyone lives at the same end of town. To be honest it is quicker to use the bypass than Withersfield Road. Quite a lot of heavy traffic should use the bypass.

MARY CLARKE,

Hundon.
