Withersfield fire – December 2008
I could not have survived the above without the kindness and help of so many people. First of all the help and assistance I received from the village was unbelievable: the firefighters salvaged furniture, shops donated goods, Hughes, Chapmans, Pipes and Glasswells and also the Haverhill Lions and Thurlow WI supported me.
I cannot think of the adequate words to describe my appreciation for the many kindnesses I received.
