Haverhill Research Park website to be archived by British Library
Haverhill Research Park will have the honour of its website being recorded by the British Library to feature in a special archive available through the Cambridge Network.
The archive is intended to become a valuable digital resource documenting the evolution of the high technology cluster of Cambridge businesses and academic institutions.
Nic Rumsey, director of Carisbrooke Investments, the developer of the £4 million Haverhill Research Park in Hanchett End, said: “The inclusion in the British Library’s collection is a tremendous honour, and we are delighted to share our website content with such a respected institution.”
The British Library uses strict guidelines for selecting websites to be featured in this archive.
According to the collection policy, a site which they believe carries national importance, reflects the diversity of Britain or contains valuable research is eligible for inclusion.
The library hopes that the collection will continue to grow and become an important public resource.
The Cambridge Network is a select organisation which facilitates collaboration and partnership among business professionals and academics in and around the city.
