The show then goes to Haverhill Arts Centre on Monday, March 25. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7pm start.

The show centres around Seymour Krelborn,(played by Joshua Woodgate), a blood eating plant under his care and his relationship with Audrey (Jess Dixon and Billie Allen) and her cruel boyfriend Orin Scrivello (Max Murphy).

Lauren Fearne, the school’s head of drama and the musical’s director, rates it as the biggest ever undertaken by its students.

She added: “It’s been really good fun directing it.

“We’ve got a huge building set of the streets of New York which is pretty impressive.”
