Axa 'streamline' plans could see redundancies

STAFF at Haverhill's Axa insurance firm, situated in High Street, have been told about plans to 'streamline' the business, which could result in redundancies across the company.
A spokeswoman for the firm said it was not yet possible to say where any redundancies might come from but it was expected a total of 560 positions would go, with no more than 280 coming from within the UK, and 120 of those likely to go from Ipswich.
