A PENSIONER who was critically injured in a car accident at the end of last December has died without ever returning home from hospital.
Roy Webb, 71, from Mill Road, Kedington, suffered head injuries in a collision with a Vauxhall Corsa at 9.15pm on Sunday, December 30.

Mr Webb, who lived alone, was a pedestrian when he was hit close to the White Horse pub in the village.

After initially spending three-and-a-half months at Adden-brooke's Hospital in Cambridge he was transferred in mid-April to West Suffolk Hospital in Bury St Edmunds, where he died on April 29.

An inquest will not be held into his death, the West Suffolk Coroner's office has confirmed.

His funeral service and interment were held at Kedington Parish Church yesterday.
