Generous donations for the disabled

A SCHEME to help disabled people take to the water has been boosted by donations totalling more than £17,000.
WASH Sailability, a project being set up by HAVO (Haverhill Association of Voluntary Organisations), has received a cheque for £8,403 from Lottery Awards For All, a total matched by St Edmundsbury Council, plus £500 from Haverhill and District Round Table, raised by its Christmas sleigh collection.
