AN ADVISER to the shadow chancellor has been chosen to fight the West Suffolk seat for the Conservatives at the general election.
Matthew Hancock, who is George Osborne's chief of staff, triumphed at an open primary held at the Dome Leisure Centre, in Mildenhall, to select a prospective parliamentary candidate to replace Richard Spring MP, who is standing down at the election.
