THE youngest members of the girl guides family in Haverhill celebrated a particularly special anniversary for their organisation with a traditional party feast including cake, jelly and ice cream.
Haverhill Rainbows tucked into their treats during a party last Wednesday, at the town's youth centre to celebrate the 21st birthday of the national movement.

The party was one of many that have been or will be held by other Rainbow groups across the country throughout 2008.

Rainbows are aged between five and seven and follow a structured programme which includes activities under the headings look, learn, laugh and love.

The Haverhill group, which was formed 19 years ago, meets at the youth centre from 4.15pm until 5.15pm every Wednesday during school term time.
