SAINSBURY'S former store manager in Haverhill has been discovering the beauty of the footpaths around the town to help her train for Saturday's London Moon Walk.Linda Alexander, 46, of Hanchett End, Haverhill, will walk the 26.2-mile course with her bra over her shirt with 15,000 other people to help raise funds for Breast Cancer Awareness.
She hopes to add £2,000 to the effort having already been sponsored £1,000 with more money set to be raised by staff at Sainsbury's in Haverhill and Bury St Edmunds this weekend. Linda, who is now manager at Sainsbury's, Bury St Edmunds, said: "I've walked about 300 miles since Christmas and it ended up with a 21-mile walk last week." The walk starts at midnight in Hyde Park on Saturday night but she knows the late night won't bother her. "I've done a few night shifts in my time," she said. H0805-32-002 www.photostoday.co.uk
