THE former Salvation Army shop and resource centre on Haverhill's Clements estate is to become home to a new charity after it received financial backing from St Edmundsbury Council.
The shop has been unnoccupied since closing on July 2, but after the borough approved a grant to cover rental costs for the next three years, it will be taken over in April by REACH.

For the full story, see this week's Echo, out FEbruary 4.
