STUDENTS from Clare Middle School used a treasure trail to help them find their own route to literary understanding as part of a day of special activites aimed at increasing their interest in writing.
The pupils participated in the ‘mystery pathway’ challenge at Clare Castle Country Park as part of the school’s Spread The Word initiative to increase the profile and standards of writing across the curriculum.

Working in groups, pupils used various methods to stimulate thinking and writing skills, including street dancing to poetry, crime scene reporting, riddles and teen magazine writing.
