Police investigate sex assault claim

POLICE in Haverhill have been searching the old railway walk after a girl made an allegation of sexual assault.
The police helicopter was deployed yesterday afternoon following the incident.

It was reported to police by a girl and her friend.

No further details are available at present.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area of the railway line on Thursday, July 24, is asked to call Haverhill Police on 01284 774100.
