Post Office Ltd have announced they intend to close the post office on Haverhill's Chalkstone estate.
There is a six-week period for people to protest.

The post office is well-used and a vital facility on the largest estate in the town.

If you would like to help our campaign to persuade Post Office Ltd to keep the facility open, sign our petition by sending your name and address to david.hart@haverhillecho.com.

A petition on its own may not be enough and we need hard evidence to put to the company, so if you know any facts, or can add any comments or personal experiences which might help the cause please send them to us by email to david.hart@haverhillecho.com.

Remember there are just six weeks so we need to have all comments by the end of April.

By submitting your name, address and/or comments to our petition, you agree that these details maybe passed onto Post Office Ltd as part of our campaign to keep Chalkstone estate's Post Office open. The Haverhill Echo will only use the information provided for the purposes of our post office campaign. Your name, address and comments maybe published online or in paper. Full addresses will not be published online.
