Vandals hit play equipment work

VANDALISM has caused work to start three weeks earlier than planned on a £110,000 upgrade to playing equipment at Castle Playing Fields, in Haverhill.
Work had been due to begin on the improvements on July 1, but the equipment was deemed unusable after the rubber safety surface was pulled up by vandals.
