CHILDREN at St Margaret's Primary School, in Toppesfield, will be able to enjoy the summer sunshine in their own beautiful garden after weeks of developing part of the school's land themselves.
They have created a vegetable plot, put in a water feature and cleared out the pond to make the area look picturesque again.

BBC Radio Essex presenter Ray Clarke cut the ribbon at a special ceremony on Monday.

Veronica Collins, years five and six teacher, said: “They have done all the designs, made all the decisions, planted the plants and rescued the frogs, and it looks fantastic.

“It was just a mess at the beginning and now we’ve done the final touches it looks lovely.”
