Bride has hopes for a free wedding

A BRIDE-to-be who has made it to the final five of a competition to win an all-expenses-paid wedding is hoping the public will step in to help make her dream come true.

Hannah Tatum, from Crowland Road in Haverhill, has been selected from 3,000 initial entrants to be one of the five finalists in SGR FM's Runaway Bride competition.

An online vote is now running on the Suffolk radio station until midday on Wednesday to find out which of the five women will make it to the final two competitors and get the chance to win a dream wedding package at Ravenswood Hall Hotel, near Bury St Edmunds.

Should Hannah, a midwife at the Rosie Maternity in Cambridge who has been with her fiance Stephen Pearson since they met at school seven years ago, be voted in to the final two she will be asked to embark on a curious challenge.

As she explained: "They give you 100 and you have 24 hours to get as far away as possible, wearing a wedding dress.

"I'm just planning on going to the airport and trying to blag a flight."

With a wedding to be planned for August 2009, Hannah said: "I really, really, really want to win it."
