Solicitors are offering to make wills for free next month, in return for a donation to St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The charity is holding its annual Wills Weeks event again in June, when anyone without a will or who needs to update theirs is invited to visit a local solicitor for the service and instead of paying the usual legal fees make a donation to the charity instead.
In Haverhill Adams Harrison in the High Street Week will accept appointments week commencing June 2. Call 01440 702485 to arrange this.
Claire Webb, St Nicholas Hospice Care Major Gifts Manager, said: “Last year’s Wills Weeks raised more than £16,000 for the Hospice and the average donation was £167 – enough to pay for a nurse’s salary for the day.
“This is a significant amount and we hope Wills Weeks 2014 will raise even more.”
