More than 300 people turned out for their chocolate fix during a popular Easter egg hunt event in Haverhill.
Despite the inclement weather families were out in force searching for goodies hidden around East Town Park in Coupals Road on Saturday.
There was even a helping hand from the Easter Bunny who ensured everyone went home with an egg during the hunt, which was organised by the Friends of East Town Park.
“The Easter egg hunt has been going for at least as long as I’ve been here and that’s 10 years,” said Christine Williams, senior park ranger.
“We had 327 people come along and it gets bigger every year.”
The event is put on by volunteers who give up their time to carefully conceal hundreds of chocolate eggs and don the Easter bunny costume.
“We could not do this without the volunteers,” said Christine. “Everyone had a really good time.”
