A civic service in St Mary’s Church in Haverhill last Sunday (August 10) commemorated the 100th anniversary of the First World War.
It was organised by the Royal British Legion in Haverhill and was attended by civic dignitaries .
Last week the Echo reported on the unveiling of a sundial in East Town Park to mark the anniversary.
This Sunday, August 17 Haverhill & District Family History Group is leading a guided walk around First World War graves in the town’s cemetery from 3pm.
