Teachers at a Haverhill school got into the spirit of Shrove Tuesday after taking part in a fund-raising pancake race.
The fun activity at Burton End Primary Academy in Camps Road saw staff take part in two races in support of four different charities.
The race came about as part of a new school initiative which encourages pupils to lead on events in the school.
Pupils have been divided into four charity teams, each supporting a different cause, with the pancake races raising more than £40 for the quartet.
The charities being supported are Macmillan Cancer Care, British Heart Foundation, Save the Children and the Canine Trust and headteacher Madeline Vosper said she was delighted with how the fundraising activities were going.
