Echo reader Lol Farr came up with an explanation for this photo after it appeared in last week’s paper.
The brass quintet were called Polished Brass and they were, back row from left; Justin Lawrence on trombone, Chris Sizer on French horn. Front row, from left: Gavin Bowyer on trumpet, Matthew Gilbert on trumpet and in the front is her son Paul Farr who plays the tuba. It was at their concert at Castle Manor on March 28, 1992. They all belonged to Haverhill Music School and formed their own brass group from this school.
