A community litter pick, grass cutting and fence repairs are to be carried out in Haverhill as part of a spring clean.

Havebury Housing Partnership is working with national grounds maintenance company, Ground Control, for a week of spring cleaning events in Clements Estate from Monday, April 11.

The project, that includes working closely with the Haverhill Community Ambassador, will also involve a skip day, as well as providing works such as garage works and shrub bed improvements.

Mark Jepson, Communities Manager at Havebury Housing Partnership, is urging residents in Haverhill to join in to make the event a success.

“We are always looking for ways to improve our neighbourhoods, and feel that the Spring Clean Week will not only achieve that, but it will also provide a great opportunity to bring the community together,” he said.

“We are delighted to be working with Ground Control on this project, and it would be wonderful to see lots of local people get involved.”
