Pupils from three Haverhill schools came together on Wednesday, July 16, for a spectacular aerial photograph from an unmanned aerial hexacopter.
The photo, designed to show the unity between Burton End Primary School, Place Farm Primary Academy and Castle Manor Academy, featured over 1,500 pupils, students, teachers and staff from all three schools, arranged into the shape of the Castle Partnership Academy Trust logo.
Madeleine Vigar, Executive Principal of the trust, said: “Today’s event is a real symbol of the work we do within the partnership each and every day.
“Having all three of our schools together, in their entirety is symbolic to us.
“We are confident that all-through education is working for our young people and I am sure they will remember today’s event for a long time to come!”
This is the first time that all three schools from the partnership have been together like this in one place. People from the age of 2 years old to 74 years old were gathered on the field to symbolise the partnership’s focus on all-through learning.
