Pupils, students, parents, staff and governors from the Castle Partnership gathered together to celebrate Christmas at their carol service on December 17.

Held at St Mary’s Church, the festive service had performances from choirs from Burton End School and Place Farm and Castle Manor academies.

There was an unaccompanied version of Silent Night by the Castle Partnership choir, which contains pupils, students and staff from all three schools.

The service is an annual event and provides an opportunity for the partnership to celebrate the year and upcoming season.

The choirs spent time rehearsing and provided an example of teachers working across schools.

The partnership, along with other schools, work together regularly to share teaching, support and key services.

The Castle Partnership is committed to all through education, believing that a love of learning should be nurtured from a very young age and that the traditional phases of education should be integrated to secure continuity, progression and high standards.
