A Haverhill child’s video urging people to get involved with Scouting has been picked up by the charity and is being used nationwide.

Noah James created the short video, ‘I Am Noah’, about his adventures with 1st Haverhill Beavers and attracted close to 4,000 YouTube views in little over a fortnight.

The six year old, from Broad Street, narrates the video showing the activities he and his friends get up through his drawings and urges others to get involved.

UK Scouting has now distributed the St Felix Primary School student’s video nationwide and echoed his call for people to join and volunteer.

You can find your local Scout troop at scouts.org.uk/get-involved

Noah’s video will be on the Echo website later this week.
