It may have been an unusual Easter weekend activity but a competition to find sheep hidden around Haverhill certainly captured residents attention.
More than 80 knitted sheep searchers scoured the town centre hunting for the 30 woolly wonders in shop windows on March 26.
The activity was organised by Haverhill Methodist Church and after all the sheep had been successfully located families headed back to the church where two rare breed sheep had been brought for children to pet. Youngsters then got stuck in to a range of sheep related crafts during a Messy Church session.
The event concluded with lunch and participants were given a goody bag, complete with a knitted sheep.
