Imperial War Museum (IWM) Duxford was forced to temporarily close after the buildings were damaged by the recent storm.
Museum chiefs originally said the former RAF Duxford base would be closed over the weekend, but then extended that time period on Monday (January 6) and the museum was closed ‘until further notice’ at the time the Echo went to print.
A statement on the IWM website read: “IWM Duxford remains closed until further notice whilst building damage caused by recent high winds is made safe.
“Further updates will be posted here once the situation changes.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
