Invitation to join Essex health trust

People from Suffolk and essex are invited to become a member of South Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT).

The trust is holding a public meeting of the Board of Directors at 11am on June 25 at Stockwood Park Discovery Centre, Stockwood Park, London Road, Luton, LU1 4LX.

The agenda includes a presentation on the Suicide Prevention Strategy, National Policy and its Implementation by Andy Brogan, Executive Director of Clinical Governance and Quality, and Lesley Cullen, Head of Serious Incidents, Investigation and Learning.

SEPT is one of the largest and most successful NHS providers in the country of integrated care including mental health, learning disability, social care and community services.

As an NHS Foundation Trust, SEPT is run locally, not by Government, and must work closely with the local community to develop services in a way that best suits the needs of local people.
