Haverhill Silver Band will perform for the first time in 2014 when they appear at Haverhill Arts Centre on Sunday, April 27.
The show, which starts at 7.30pm, will feature a very light hearted and entertaining program with a novel twist.
Musical Director Mark Ager has decided that every player in the band should be featured either as a soloist or in a duet, trio or quartet, and accompanied by your local first section brass band.
There will be music from Oklahoma, Paint your Wagon and The Mission (Gabriel’s Oboe),and by the Beatles, Mozart,
George Gershwin, Hoagy Carmichael and Harry James amongst many others.
