The A1307 has been reopened following a crash that left four people hurt this morning (Tuesday, February 18).
Police were called at 8.20m and the fire service at 8.26am.
There had been a two vehicle collision with the road closed between Linton and Horseheath.
A fire engine from Haverhill and one from Linton attended the crash, and used specialist cutting equipment to free a woman from one of the cars.
Three other casualties had already been freed before fire crews arrived.
The air ambulance attended, but the woman was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance.
None of the injuries were life-threatening.
Fire crews had returned to their bases by 9.50am.
The road was shut in both directions and reopened at around 1.30pm.
