Abnormal loads on Suffolk roads

Police would like to make the public aware of the following abnormal loads travelling through Norfolk and Suffolk next week.

Today:

A large boat measuring 5.2m wide, 5m high and 22m long, weighing 52 tonnes will be escorted by Suffolk Police from Colchester, Essex to Wroxham, Norfolk, from 9.30am.

The route follows the A12 from the Essex border, A14, A11, A140, A1042, A1151 to site.

Tomorrow:

A crane base measuring 5.8m wide will be escorted from Seatrax, in Southtown Road, Great Yarmouth, from 10am to Felixstowe Dock.

The route will follow A12, A47, A11, A1304, A14, A142, A14, and local roads to the site.

Wednesday, June 18
