There was another crash at the dangerous cross roads between Withersfield and West Wratting last week.

The crash, around 4.30pm last Friday (March 28), resulted in a Range Rover ending up in the ditch, but fortunately nobody was hurt.

The site has become a priority for Cambridgeshire County Council to improve safety at following two deaths there in separate crashes last year.

Dean Cork, 47, from Gainsborough Road, suffered fatal injuries after the Piaggio T5 scooter he was riding was hit a Vauxhall Combo van at 7.10am on April 23.

Bradley Gamble, 20, from North Avenue, died in Addenbrooke’s Hospital on May 18 following injuries sustained from a crash at 9.05pm the day before.
