Police are appealing for help in tracing a Hollesley Bay prisoner who absconded from the prison on Boxing Day (Wednesday, December 26).

Officers were contacted around 6.20pm on Boxing Day (Wednesday, December 26) reporting that Felix Rooney had failed to attend a 5.30pm roll call.

He had been in the prison earlier that day for the 3pm roll call.

Rooney is white and when he was last see he was wearing tracksuit trousers and a black jacket.

If anyone sees Rooney they should phone the police with the details.

They should not approach him or take any further action.

Anyone who may have seen him, or who may have information about where he is now, should call Suffolk Police on 101 or contact their nearest police station.
