Apprenticeships open evening at West Suffolk College

Information about apprenticeship opportunities through West Suffolk College will be available at an open evening on the Bury St Edmunds campus on Wednesday, February 13 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Anyone over 16 can take up an apprenticeship.

For those aged 19-24 the training is part subsidised. A national survey last year showed that nine out of ten apprentices are satisfied with their training and a third had received a promotion as a result.

Work based learning courses start on different dates throughout the year. You can combine study with paid work on an apprenticeship.

The college logs apprenticeship vacancies online, and links up to the national vacancies service where thousands of potential apprentices are registered.

School leavers, parents, mature students and employers will be welcome to drop in to find out what is on offer.
