An attempted burglary in Haverhill was carried out at around 2.25am this morning, Tuesday 2 June, at a house in Vange Place.
The occupants were asleep upstairs when they were woken by a noise coming from the rear patio doors consistent with the lock being tried.
They shouted out which caused the offenders to flee and marks were found on the door close to the lock. No entry was gained to the property.
