Journalist and best-selling children’s book author Dan Freedman was a big hit with pupils at Kedington Primary School on Friday morning.
The author’s series of football-themed Jamie Johnson books are popular with children at the school.
So year 6 teacher Ellie Cook organised the visit to inspire children to read. She said the visit was also timely with the FIFA World Cup coming up and Dan was able to shared some of his experiences of being a journalist for the England football team and gave the school a signed football and some signed copies of his latest book. In the afternoon, the school held an event to celebrate the Commonwealth Games.
