The Teenage Cancer Trust has received £1,234.56 from the organiser of the Fight Night held at Haverhill Leisure Centre on May 10.

Ian Norris, the charity’s regional fundraiser said: “We’ve been so impressed with the incredible enthusiasm of Matt (Fitch, the organiser) and of all of the fighters who took part.

“We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who fought, and to all those who went along to support this event. “We also want to express our gratitude to Abbeycroft Leisure for allowing this event to be staged in Haverhill.

“The money raised will go towards desperately needed services for local young people with cancer.”
