Children invited to enter ambulance drawing competition

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) are asking the region’s children to draw their own ambulance scene as part of a competition running throughout 2013.

Each month entries will be put on the ambulance service’s website and a monthly winner will be selected. At the end of the year the 12 winning designs will go into a calendar for 2014 and the winners will receive a copy of the calendar including their drawing.

Victoria Maillardet, Patient and Public Involvement Manager for EEAST said:

“We want children to consider the time of year when they enter, maybe a snowy scene in January or fireworks in November.

“Anyone under 16 can enter and we want to encourage everyone to get creative. The drawings can show anything to do with the ambulance service.”

The completed calendar will be available to download from the service’s website.
