Chimney fire in Wickhambrook

Firefighters were called to a property in Wickhambrook last night (Thursday, February 28) to tackle a chimney fire.

One crew from Wickhambrook answered the emergency call at the house in Bury Road at 6.08pm, where they found the chimney alight.

Chimney rods and a thermal image camera were used to ensure the fire was under control before the crew returned to their station at 6.51pm.
